A Better Way to Choose Custom Blinds and Shades
Big-box stores sell products. We design solutions. Diane Johnson Kithcart founded Clearview Blinds and Shades after a decade-long career at an interior design firm in Port Ludlow, and that background shapes every recommendation we make. We carry a full range of custom blinds and shades services, including hard treatments, soft shades, and motorized window shades, all sourced through our trusted partnership with Graber. Every product is measured to your exact window dimensions, ordered to specification, and installed by our team. No guesswork, no off-the-shelf compromises, just window coverings that genuinely fit your home.

Cellular Shades for Pacific Northwest Winters
Cellular, or honeycomb, shades are one of the most practical investments a homeowner in Kitsap County can make. Their honeycomb structure traps air between the fabric layers, reducing heat loss and improving indoor comfort year-round. If high heating bills or drafty windows are a concern, cellular shades offer a functional and attractive fix. We carry single, double, and triple-cell options in a wide range of opacities to give you flexible control over sunlight and privacy at the same time.

Solar and Roller Blinds Installation
If sun glare on your TV or fading furniture is a daily frustration, solar shades are the answer. Available for both interior and exterior applications, they filter harmful UV rays while preserving your view. Our roller blinds installation service covers everything from measuring your windows to final hardware mounting. Solar shades come in a range of opacity levels, so you can choose how much light to let in without sacrificing your sightlines. Clean, minimal, and purpose-built for modern Kingston and Poulsbo homes.

Motorized Window Shades for Effortless Control
Motorized window shades are the right choice for hard-to-reach windows, open-concept living areas, or anyone who wants effortless control over light and privacy. We offer motorization options compatible with remote controls, wall switches, and smart home systems. Whether you are building a new home in Hansville or upgrading an existing space on Bainbridge Island, motorized shades add a layer of convenience that manual systems simply cannot match. We handle the full setup, including programming and hardware installation.

Wood, Faux Wood, and Aluminum Blinds
Classic blind styles remain some of the most popular choices for good reason. Wood blinds bring warmth and a timeless look to living rooms and bedrooms, while faux wood blinds offer the same aesthetic with better moisture resistance, making them a smart pick for kitchens and bathrooms in the Pacific Northwest. Aluminum horizontal blinds are a durable, low-maintenance option for utility spaces or modern interiors. All of our hard treatments are custom-fit to your windows and installed with precision by our team serving Kingston, Port Ludlow, and surrounding areas.

Natural, Roman, and Layered Shades
For homeowners who want warmth and organic texture in their interiors, our natural shades, woven from bamboo and grass materials, bring a relaxed, coastal-inspired aesthetic that fits beautifully in homes near the water. Roman shades offer a classic, structured look in both tailored and softer styles. Layered shades combine a sheer panel with a solid one, giving you total privacy when you need it and soft filtered light when you do not. These are popular choices for design-focused clients in Bainbridge Island and Port Ludlow who want their window coverings to be a design feature, not just a functional one.

Privacy Blinds Solutions for Every Room
Privacy is one of the most common concerns we hear from homeowners across Kitsap and Jefferson Counties, especially in higher-density neighborhoods or homes with street-facing windows. Our privacy blinds solutions range from blackout roller shades and top-down, bottom-up cellular shades to layered shades that let you adjust coverage throughout the day. We take the time during your consultation to understand how each room is used and recommend the right opacity and style to give you the level of privacy you actually need, without darkening your entire living space.

Custom Window Treatment Design from Start to Finish
Our custom window treatment design process begins with a conversation, either by phone or in your home. We assess your light control needs, privacy requirements, and interior aesthetic before recommending products. From there, we take precise measurements, manage your order through our Graber partnership, and handle professional installation. For new construction projects in Poulsbo or whole-home renovations, we act as your single point of contact from the first design decision to the final installation, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Drapery, Sheers, and Pleated Shades
Drapery and sheer shades add softness and a finished look to formal living spaces, dining rooms, and primary bedrooms. Sheers filter light beautifully while maintaining an open, airy feel, and they pair well with layered shade systems for added versatility. Pleated shades offer a clean, structured silhouette with a wide range of fabric options. All of our soft treatments are available in custom sizes and a broad selection of colors and textures, so your window coverings complement your existing decor rather than compete with it. We serve clients throughout Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam Counties.
